Zachary, Karen, and I went to watch the sunset on the edge of the Florida Everglades, just a few miles from our house. With the 4th of July coming up, I thought it would be fun to introduce Zachary to the American flag, which was made all the more fun by the wind that picked up just before sunset. As can happen here, some clouds formed on the horizon just before sunset, so it got dark quick and wasn’t as cool as it could have been, but we still had a lot of fun.
Zachary is one cool kid! He loves his hat and sunglasses and anything to do with music. I’m not sure if he prefers piano or guitar at this point, as he loves playing both at home. It’s going to be fun to expose him to various instruments as he gets older (as long as they aren’t drums or the saxophone!).

I am always blown away by your photography, the joy on the faces of Zachary and Karen, and the amazing backdrop of the everglades manage to make it even more beautiful. You and Karen really do amazing things with your photographs.
Great photos!! I especially love the one of Karen & the guitar! You should do this more often, you are really talented!
I adore the pictures of Zachary with the flags and the one of him peeking out from the sunglasses is just so adorable. You have captured our little boy so perfectly. Love you.
